24.11.2007 Showtime rattery is going strong
This year has been a nice one for me and my rats! I have bred 12 litters of beautiful and friendly babies for pets and showing. A silver black buck from my F-litter, Showtime Fluff and Bluff, has won 3 stars in the shows and I have now applied for the Champion title for him. All rats from Prague are doing fine, except one doe who sadly had to be put to sleep after a difficult birth. Lenka from LMG rattery visited me from Prague this summer and brought along some cute babies including the first russian pearl and the first downunder marked animals. After them the first downunders born in Finland were born in my rattery (L-litter) a month and a half ago. I have co-operated with two Swedish breeders (Ann-Elisabeth and Linda) this year and also started to sew hammocks and sleeping tubes for rats. They have become higly popular among the rat fanciers here. Next year will hopefully bring new healthy babies in stunning colors and markings as well as many happy moments in the shows!
11.3.2007 Lots of babies in my rattery

1.2.2007 Inessa's litter born!
LMG's Inessa has given birth to a litter of about 12 pups. Congartulations to the new mum! Check out the litters-page for more!
28.1.2007 My rattery's first litter born!
LMG's Iovanna gave birth to 12 pups. Happy birthday, babies!

19.11.2006 LMG's Lumir Best of Breed-PET in Grand Gala and gets GG-PET06 -title
In The Finnish Fancy Rat Society's Grand Gala on the 18th of Nov 2006 my junior boy LMG's Lumir was chosen to be Best of Breed in PET-class. He was also the Best Junior. Lumir got a title GG-PET06 to be used infront of his name. Congratulations GG-PET06 LMG's Lumir!
19.11.2006 Janina F. in Memories
| Vispilä and late Rambo's friend Janina Frostell (dob. 20.3.05) has died of mycoplasmosis. Janina was the diva of my rattery and a very independent lady. Although she was cranky at times and bite me, she was a beloved member of my rattery and we will always have a place for her in our hearts. Rest in peace Janina. You will be missed especially by your pal Vispilä and your own people. |

4.11.2006 Emilka best Non-Standard
New baby to my rattery
In the Halikko rat show the 4th of Nov. Emilka of Smeagolie was chosen as the best Non-Standard. My other rats did well too and got L1s and honorary prices. My rattery's newest kid was found there. The siamese girl is from the Asterix rattery. Welcome baby! |

24.10.2006 Queen has passed away
The beloved queen of my rattery, Rambo, passed away on the 24th of October aged 2 years and 5 months due to mycoplasmosis. Rambo's memory will be cherished in our hearts and we will always remember her as an incredibly sweet, friendly and lovable rat. Our dear family member will be missed especially by her mates Vispilä ja Janina F. and the rattery humanimals.

21.10.2006 Rats get their first Quality-1s (L1)
My new rats' first show in Myyrmäkihalli went well. Both russian blues Egon
Schiele and Energie as well as both russian doves Extáze and Emilka of Smeagolie got Quality-1s (L1) in the non-standard young rats' class from the British judge Melanie Goulder. Black husky striped LMG’s Lumir and ice
american berkshire LMG’s Iovanna got also their first L1-judgements in standard young rats' class from the Brit.
3.10.2006 Rats' first show ahead
The standard coated and eared ones of my new rats have now gotten registered. They will be attending to their first show on the 21st and the 22nd of October in Myyrmäkihalli, Vantaa. It is Suomen Kesyrottayhdistys' show and a part of a big annual pet fair, Lemmikki 2006. Wish us luck!
14.9.2006 Rats on TV2 twice
My three pet does and me appear on the first and second episode of a new pet series "Lemmikit" on the Finnish National TV2. Show is on every Thursday at 19.05, and the first episode comes out on the 14th of September. In that episode viewers get to know my rats and the basic care of them. The second episode (21.9.) takes the viewers to the pet hospital to witness the surgery of one of my rats, Janina F.

28.8.2006 The new rittens arrived
I came home from Prague, Czech Republic, along with 11 new baby rats.
Amongst them were the first ever longhairs, velveteens, russian blues
and russian doves. History has been made. :)
