Since spring 2007 I have bred 12 litters in my rattery. Currently (22.11.2007) there are one litter and 3 expecting mothers in my house. I update my Finnish litter page more ferquently than this one. So, please, check out the site

 

 

There you will find words such as K-poikue, L-poikue etc. "Poikue" means "litter" and by clicking the Poikue-words, you'll get to the litters own page. When the pups are old enough to be reserved I will add individual photos of them on the page. Next to each photo you'll find info about the pup in question. N means doe and U means buck. If it says "VARATTU" (=reserved) next to the pups name, it is then reserved for someone. Word "VAPAA" (=free) or no word at all means that the pup is free to be reserved.

                                                             A-LITTER 28.1.2007

 

My rattery's first litter is here!    LMG's Iovanna had twelve cute pups on the 28th of Jan. Birth went well and both the mum and the kids are doing fine. :)   LMG's Iovanna (Dc)                       X        Jazz Ögon   st blue diluted (prob. aa dd rr)                rex blue (aa dd Bb Rr) American berkshire     <----------------------- Iovanna alias Foxy on the 22nd day of gestation. Tummy is quite huge. :) Iovanna is a very sweet and loving girl. Very friendly and lets handle her pups.   I'm expecting to get blue and diluted blue, marked and self in standard and rex. Some of the pups may be dumbo carriers.   Reserved:   Does: about 5, 1 rex Bucks: 1 rex

 

 

31.1.2007  One baby has died - 11 left. Looks like some pups could be blues and some dilutes.  If the lighter ones turn out to be the same color as mom, then her genetic code will be aa dd rr, which is ruby eyed blue.   1.2.2007 Foxy's babies are 5 days old on the photo. -------------------------------->

My rattery's second litter saw the daylight, or should I say the moonlight, in the night between the 31st of Jan and the first of February.  Combination is:   LMG's Inessa (Dumbo)          X       Zaya's Dies Iovis st blue diluted (prob.aa dd pp)      st blue agouti (Aa dd Pp) European berkshire   Mum is a very sweet dumbo eared rat called Inessa alias Mousy. Birth went so well that everything had happened before I woke up in the morning. :) About 12 pups were born.   Out of this combination I'm expecting blue, blue agouti and diluted blue, which hopefully will be pink eye type alias ice, aa dd pp.

Mousy's nest is an original Video Company Makuuni's candy bag. :) Although she had a bigger nest there too, she chose to have this minature flat. These pups will most likely become very sweet and irresistable being born in a candy bag!   Reservations can be made of these pups.
